Time:
- Prep Time – 10 minutes
- Cook Time – 4 minutes
Cost:
- Everything you need can be easily found at any neighborhood grocery store for less than $10.
What You’ll Need:
- 1 bag extra large tortillas
- 1 bag tostada shells
- 1/2 lb uncooked chicken breast
- 1 jar of your favorite alfredo sauce
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 bag shredded iceberg lettuce
- 2 small tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Can of PAM cooking spray – optional
Directions:
Start with your chicken breast. Add 1 tbsp olive oil to a saute pan and season chicken with salt and pepper and cook over medium heat with minced garlic until cooked through. While the chicken is cooking, dice your tomatoes and set aside. Once the chicken is cooked through, remove from heat and dice.
Now you can start putting everything together. Start by microwaving your tortilla for 20 seconds to soften it up then lay it flat on the counter. Arrange half of your chicken in a circle in the middle of the tortilla and add 1/4 of your cheese over the chicken. Place a tostada shell over the chicken. Using a spoon, spread an even layer of Alfredo sauce over the tostada shell. Add lettuce, tomatoes and another 1/4 of your cheese on top of that. Now carefully start folding one corner of the tortilla over the other in a circle until you’re holding it together and it’s wrapped all the way around. Spray a frying pan with cooking spray or oil. Over Medium-Low heat, place your crunchwrap face down in the pan carefully. It’s important to start it face down because that will hold it all together. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the tortilla is golden brown. Serve and Enjoy!
